1.3.3 Information Sources – Identification Requirements
The above bar graph shows where respondents got information on the requirements to vote on the November 17, 2014, federal by-elections. The results are as follows:
- Previous knowledge/experience (50 percent) was the most common source of information followed by the voter information card (34 percent), newspapers (10 percent), word of mouth (8 percent), TV (8 percent), radio (6 percent), Elections Canada householder brochure (5 percent), learned at school (3 percent), Internet (2 percent), and the Elections Canada website (2 percent).
