3.2.1 Identification Documents

The above stacked bar graph shows the respondents' compliance with the requirement of proof of identity. The results are as follows:

• Overall 98 percent of the respondents said they had the required identification document with them when they went to vote and 2 percent said they did not have the required identification document.
• In Whitby–Oshawa 99 percent of the respondents said they had the required identification document with them when they went to vote and 1 percent said they did not have the required identification document.
• In Yellowhead 97 percent of the respondents said they had the required identification document with them when they went to vote and 3 percent said they did not have the required identification document.
