1.4 Awareness of Voting by Mail
The above stacked bar graph shows the percentage of respondents who knew it was possible to vote by mail at a federal election. The results are as follows:
- Overall 25 percent of the respondents knew about the possibility, 38 percent did not know about it, and 37 percent did not know or refused to answer.
- In Whitby–Oshawa 26 percent of the respondents knew about the possibility, 38 percent did not know about it, and 36 percent did not know or refused to answer.
- In Yellowhead 24 percent of the respondents knew about the possibility, 38 percent did not know about it, and 38 percent did not know or refused to answer.
