Survey of Campus Electors (October 16–30, 2019)
Elections Canada wants feedback from on-campus electors who had the opportunity to vote by special ballot at a campus office, as part of the Vote on Campus initiative that was held in post-secondary institutions across Canada.
We want to better understand:
- if people were aware of the opportunity to vote on campus;
- how they found out about voting on campus; and
- why they didn’t vote on campus (if applicable).
Who is conducting this survey?
Advanis, an independent polling firm, is conducting the survey.
How is this survey administered?
You will receive an email from a representative from your post-secondary institution inviting you to participate in an online questionnaire.
Who can complete the survey?
Eligible electors who attend a post-secondary institution that hosted a campus voting office as part of the Vote on Campus initiative during the 2019 federal election, and who received an invitation by email, can complete the survey.
How was my contact information found?
We do not have your contact information. The student life services representatives on campus sent an invitation on behalf of Elections Canada and Advanis using their own contact lists.
