Elections Canada Mails Reminders
Electors Reminded of Voter Information Cards and Identification Rules
Gatineau, Wednesday, October 29, 2014
- A reminder brochure delivered to every household in Whitby–Oshawa (Ontario) and Yellowhead (Alberta) asks electors to take action if they have not received their voter information card, or if the card contains errors.
- Electors are asked to use Elections Canada's online voter registration service before midnight on Sunday, November 9, to update their address or, in some instances, to complete their registration.
- Electors who cannot use the online voter registration service are asked to call their local Elections Canada office before 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014:
- The reminder brochure also provides information on the voter identification rules, including the list of identification authorized by the Chief Electoral Officer of Canada.
