This page provides data on the number of special ballot voting kits that Elections Canada issued to electors during the federal by-election in Mississauga–Lakeshore. A special ballot is used when an elector votes by mail, or in person at a local Elections Canada office.

For this by-election, the deadline to apply to vote by special ballot is Tuesday, December 6, 2022, 6 p.m. Electors need to return their completed special ballot by election day, Monday, December 12, 2022. Special ballots received after the election day deadline are not counted.

Special ballots are also used by incarcerated electors voting at their correctional facility, and by certain Canadian Forces electors.
