Electoral Boundaries Readjustment Administration (P)

The Electoral Boundaries Readjustment is a three-year program that delivers administrative support services to independent provincial commissions tasked with reviewing federal electoral boundaries after each decennial census. The program provides tools, data, information, and communication services to support the commission to carry out their obligations under the Electoral Boundaries Readjustment Act (EBRA) namely, the preparations of proposals, the conduct of public hearings and the completion of their final reports. The program also acts as a conduit between the House of Commons and the electoral boundaries commissions, and it prepares and transmits the draft representation order to the Minister.
